Church Safety: Mitigation, Planning & Response
This free seminar is designed to help faith-based communities enhance the safety and security of their Houses of Worship. Through expert instruction and practical application, participants will gain tools and knowledge to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from potential threats.
Course Overview
This class focuses on three key areas:
- Threat Identification: Learn to recognize warning signs and behavioral indicators of potential active shooters.
- Emergency Planning: Develop or enhance your House of Worship’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
- Trauma Response: Learn the basics of treating traumatic injuries in emergency situations.
The course includes security assessments tailored specifically to Houses of Worship, as well as hands-on exercises to help reinforce key concepts.
